Camp Chair teaching a scout to throw TomahawksThe World Brotherhood Camporee is an event that spans over a third of Scouting history, an event that has over the years seen some 80,000 friendships created. Many of these friendships span great time and distances.

I have had the privilege and honour of being a part of this great tradition for 35 years: first as a Scout, then as a Leader, as the “Tomahawk Guy”,and most recently as the Canadian Committee Chair.

During these years I have met many incredibly dedicated and interesting people. People, who year after year have donated their time and energy to create an event that I think embraces and even surpasses the ideals of our founder.

I invite you to become a part of this event and experience the fun and camaraderie  that brings many of us back year after year.

Yours in Scouting
